Installation — Machine NX-200

Warning: Qualified personnel only

Installation and connection of the NX-200 must only be performed by an authorised electrician and machine technician. Unauthorised installation voids the warranty and may pose a serious safety risk.

Prerequisites

Verify the following before installation:

  • [ ] 400 V / 3-phase / 50 Hz socket (CEE 32A) within 3 metres
  • [ ] Compressed air (6 bar, min. 200 l/min) with 1/2" connection
  • [ ] Floor space minimum 4 × 2 m (including operating area)
  • [ ] Floor load capacity minimum 500 kg/m²
  • [ ] Ambient temperature +5 °C to +40 °C
  • [ ] Relative humidity below 80% (non-condensing)

Installation Procedure

1. Unpacking

  1. Remove packaging carefully — avoid damaging the cabinets.
  2. Check the machine condition against the delivery note.
  3. Report transport damage within 24 hours to the carrier.

2. Positioning

  1. Place the machine on the prepared surface.
  2. Retract the four transport wheels and level the machine with the adjusting feet.
  3. Check horizontal alignment with a spirit level — maximum deviation 2 mm/m.
  4. Tighten the adjusting feet lock nuts.

3. Electrical Connection

  1. Ensure power supply is disconnected (LOTO procedure — see Safety section).
  2. Connect the CEE 32A plug to the machine's connection cabinet.
  3. Check phase sequence — correct direction of rotation of the conveyor belt is indicated by an arrow on the cabinet.
  4. Apply power and confirm green indicator on HMI.

4. Compressed Air Connection

  1. Connect the 1/2" compressed air fitting to the machine inlet (blue label, left side panel).
  2. Open the shut-off valve slowly.
  3. Check the pressure gauge on the machine: operating pressure should read 5.5–6.5 bar.

5. Commissioning

  1. Switch on the machine via the HMI panel (green START button).
  2. Run the machine idle for 5 minutes and check for abnormal noises.
  3. Run a test with packaging film without product — check seal quality.
  4. Record commissioning date and technician initials in the service log.
