Safety during maintenance

Always disconnect power and compressed air and apply the LOTO procedure before any maintenance. See Safety.

Lubrication Schedule

Service Intervals

Daily check (operator responsibility)

  • [ ] Check film tension — no slack or misalignment
  • [ ] Clean sealing jaws with a dry lint-free cloth (never abrasive material)
  • [ ] Check the air filter on the compressed air inlet — drain condensate
  • [ ] Note any abnormal noises in the operating log

Weekly check

  • [ ] Lubricate chain drive (see lubrication schedule)
  • [ ] Check drive chain tension — max. 10 mm deflection at mid-point
  • [ ] Inspect PTFE coating on sealing jaws — replace if visibly worn
  • [ ] Check condition and fastening of all safety covers

Monthly check

  • [ ] Lubricate linear guides
  • [ ] Clean HMI panel and check touch response
  • [ ] Review production reports for error trends
  • [ ] Check cable tray condition — no loose or worn cables

500-hour service (technician)

  • [ ] Replace air filter cartridge
  • [ ] Lubricate eccentric shaft
  • [ ] Check tightening torque of all bolted connections
  • [ ] Test-run at full production speed and validate seal quality
  • [ ] Complete service protocol and archive
